When I started creating candles and wax melts, I always wanted them to be more than just beautiful scents for the home.
I love that fragrance can create moments — a quiet evening, a comforting memory, or a little bit of calm in a busy day. But I also wanted my small business to have a positive impact beyond my own home.
That’s why supporting charities close to my heart has always been important to me.
Our Marie Curie journey
Back in 2021, I was delighted to be contacted by Marie Curie representative Jenni Taylor, who asked if I would help create something special to support their fundraising.
Working together throughout the year, we designed and created Marie Curie candles and wax melts, with profits helping to support the incredible work they do caring for people and families living with terminal illness.
It was such a privilege to create something that could help raise awareness and contribute to such an important cause.
Continuing to support Marie Curie
I’m so grateful to everyone who supported these products and helped us raise over £620 for Marie Curie.
Since then, I’ve continued to support their fundraising through local events and stalls at my community church, where I love meeting people and being part of something that brings the local community together.
Being a small business means I get to make personal connections, not just with customers but with causes and communities that matter.
